I booted a core-image-sato on arm mips ppc x86 x86-64 qemu using
pristine bitbake (the release since trunk seems to be broken for
oe-core trunk ATM) and pristine oe-core
(oe-core @ ba22e4fcf07eb8007f6d500908d503f1d3dbdd16 lacks /etc/profile
so does not boot for me unless you touch it first. Pretty hard _not_
to tinker ;)
The locking issue was fixed as per the attached utmp fix, for reference.
