Unresolved license issues should never have been _checked_in_. Who did that
and why? (Could you point me to the svn commit?)

Poke IBM?
Also, the gentoo developers have their own improved libm, based on Peter
Mazinger's work and backported on top of 0.9.28 (as far as I know). I should
ping Solar about that...
