i dont recall anyone ever doing an audit since.  ive done specific
function audits myself whenever looking at a bug, but that's about it
(except maybe for running LTP and auditing any failures there).  and
any work i did i tried to turn into a test case.

istr the opengroup having a POSIX test but it's only available for $$$
or NDA ?  which makes it useless for us ...
