Great. I didn't think about -C. I'll keep it in mind and will have a
look ASAP, please refrain from -C for now then -- although it does no
real harm but building certain stuff twice.

PS: Does somebody know, by chance, why everything except crtbeginT.o:
uses $(objext)? This crtbeginT.o: is the only (wrongly, i assume)
hardcoded user of ".o" in libgcc/Makefile.in
