Looks like you're using uClibc 0.9.27. It is date January 2005. That is prior
to the message you refer to.

In the meantime, we've had 0.9.28, 0.9.28.1, 0.9.28.2, 0.9.28.3, and 0.9.29,
the latter being dated May 2007. Since then, there has ben a lot of stuff
going into the trunk.

You can check wether utmpx.h exists in the SVN trunk:

Yes, there's one:

Log shows it's even there since 2002, with a fix in March 2005.

Is something missing in that file? What is the exact error you encountered?
