Cross-compiling, missing curses libraries?

Hi,

I am trying to cross-compile an application from Linux
to DD-WRT (OpenWRT optional). My program needs
curses.h library but this specific library seems to
missing from my toolchain I build with Buildroot.

Has anyone solution how to work out this problem? Any
ideas are more than welcome.
