if it's a binutils version issue, punt it ... if it's an old-ABI vs EABI
issue, then sadly we'll need to keep it ... put we should make it so only the
arm guys take the penalty ...
i would like to just tell people to upgrade, but the arm world is so screwed
up when it comes to kernel versions ... hopefully going mainline +
codesourcery pushing new stuff will help this though
