Hi,
Iam using buildroot to cross compile programs for the CSB637 board with an
arm9. I get to compile programs. I try to run them through a NFS filesystem
but they seg fault. I am trying to run a simple hello world program. The
board can however run binaries precompiled which i got from the archives.
The difference i notice between them is as follows.

running file command on the binary compiled with buildroot
file a.out
a.out: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1 (ARM), statically linked,
not stripped

the o/p for the binary which runs
file hello.x
hello.x: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1 (ARM), for GNU/Linux
2.0.0, statically linked, not stripped

for some reason the binary seems not to be compiled for GNU/linux. I am
really clueless.
please help.
