Mirror problem

I've been unable to reach the gcc mirror at http://mirrors.rcn.net for a
few days.  Another person on a different backbone segment confirmed they
couldn't reach it either.  Is anyone else experiencing this problem?  I
tweaked my toolchain gcc-ulibc-3.x.mk to refer to ftp.gnu.org
<ftp://ftp.gnu.org/>  as a work-around.  Gnu rearranged their tree
slightly so I had to use
GCC_SITE:=ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gcc/gcc-$(GCC_VERSION).
