Hi list,

I am using buildroot quiet a half year now und yesterday I decided to
try out the NPTL thread modell. Okay so far, no problem during compile
process of the rootfs. I atteched my .config.

I chroot into the rootfs and made gcc -v:

[root at ganymed /]# gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: i686-linux-uclibc
Configured with:
/usr/local/src/rootfs/devel/buildroot-20060203/toolchain_build_i686/gcc-4.2.0/configure
--prefix=/usr --build=i386-pc-linux-gnu --host=i686-linux-uclibc
--target=i686-linux-uclibc --enable-languages=c,c++ --enable-shared
--with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/c++ --disable-__cxa_atexit
--enable-target-optspace --with-gnu-ld --disable-nls --disable-threads
--enable-multilib
Thread model: single
gcc version 4.2.0 20060128 (experimental)

Why do I get the thread modell SINGLE

And does choosing the NPTL option duing the configuration of the
buildroot environment does set the gcc option --disable-threads ?

Thx in advance
