Dear Joseph,

I think your question is 'out of the question'.
AFAIK (and I should as I use Delphi/Kylix a lot) Kylix produces binaries
that ALWAYS need Libc6. Even if you say to Delphi/Kylix to produce static
binaries, it will still depend on libc/ld-linux.

Cheers,
Rory Vieira

Subject: Delphi/Kylix app on uClibc???

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the Borland Delphi/Kylix
compiler to generate an executable for an x86 uClibc / Buildroot
system?

An associate has an enormous amount of Delphi Pascal code for Windows
and Windows CE that he wants to port to a small embedded Linux system
running something like buildroot. Just a console application, no GUI
involved.

Any suggestions/hints/tips?

- Joe
