[uClibc] kernel-2.4.27 build w/ gcc-3.4[.x] and optimisation (-Os)

Hello!
buildroot adds the optimisation kernel patch (debian too). If the kernel
is built w/ gcc-3.4[.1] and -Os (size optimisation = on), memcmp is
"killed" in some of the modules (undefined)
Tested on 2.4.27-pre2-bk2 (pre2 adds many gcc build related patches), x86.
Does anybody know the reason (I know I shouldn't use this gcc), but this
could cause also problems for other builds, if -Os is used.
