If you want to package uClibc for whatever distribution, then go for it.
As the packager, you are in control.  How you choose to package things
isn't my decision.  However, don't expect me to add cruft to uClibc that
_I_ would have to maintain, just to make your job easier.

Also, surely you also build and package applications using uClibc.  So I
really don't understand why you're having such a problem with the idea of
building the uClibc utils the same way (although admittedly the include
paths still need fixing).
