Hi all:

Two root file systems were built using glibc (v2.95.3) and uclibc (v0.9.20).
These two systems were tested under the same condition and environment. The
target board was an arm-based system and equipping with USB interface. By
the way, the kernel version was v2.4.18-5mdk.
The test setup was:
1. An USB memory stick with controller of Sonix SN11086A and FAT32 file
format was plugged into the system.
2. Boot the system. During the booting, the operating system will detect
then read data from the memory stick.
Two results were obtained.
1. The booting was fine with the root file system built by glibc.
2. The booting crashed when the kernel tried to detect the USB device with
the root file system built by uclibc.
The questions are:
1. Is the crash caused by the uclibc? If so, what possible reasons for that?
2. If not, what can cause the crash possibly?

Thanks for help.
