[uClibc] uwoody, how to build uclibc based apps without pulling in libintl/libiconv ?

Hi,

I am trying out using the uwoody distribution to build
apps using uclibc instead of glibc. My question is, is
there a way to disable the pulling in of libiconv and
libintl library in the executables ? I am not sure if
this is a gcc issue or the application issue or what.
