You are correct. So much for trying to paste things into emails at 4:00am. ;-)

Ok, I have tried it with the Makefile shown both with SOFT_FLOAT set to 
both true and false. In both cases, I get the above error. Otherwise, the 
builds are identical.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
