[uClibc] 2.6 kernel within buildroot

i assume this is the correct place to post comments/questions regarding using
buildroot?

i created a linux-2.6.mk by copying the existing linux.mk and basically adding
'2.6' to various targets and directory names (for instance
'kernel-2.6-patches'). building using yesterday's snapshots of uclibc and
busybox (fixed some issues with fdisk.c and kernel headers, and libbb/loop.c),
everything appears to work at a basic level. i could boot into the basic system
and get a shell prompt, login, use some shell commands.

i was just wondering how people using the 2.6 kernel are building it?

additionally, has any thought been given to inclusion of NPTL or is the current
plan to stick with the existing pthreads implementation?

thanks,

jason
