Hi all,
I hope to build a toolchain for arm using buildroot-uclibc, but got some
problem. My step is showed as below:
1. download the buildroot from cvs:
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at uclibc.org:/var/cvs login
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at uclibc.org:/var/cvs co buildroot
2. make menuconfig
I choose the arm architecture, binutils 2.14.90.0.6, GCC compiler
Version (gcc 2.95), [*] Build/install c++ compiler and libstdc++. and that's
all, others are kept as default.
3. make and waiting...
sometime later, it shows:
********************************************************
Applying toolchain/gcc/2.95/STLport-4.5.3.patch using plaintext:
patching file Makefile
can't find file to patch at input line 52
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|diff -urN STLport-4.5.3/src/dll_main.cpp
STLport-4.5.3-devel/src/dll_main.cpp
|--- STLport-4.5.3/src/dll_main.cpp Sat Feb 2 16:11:56 2002
|+++ STLport-4.5.3-devel/src/dll_main.cpp Tue Jan 7 15:28:08 2003
--------------------------
File to patch:
***********************************************************
I press enter, and skip the patch.
then I got the following information:
***********************************************************
File to patch:
Skip this patch? [y]
Skipping patch.
1 out of 1 hunk ignored
Patch failed! Please fix toolchain/gcc/2.95/STLport-4.5.3.patch!
make: ***
[/usr/src/test/buildroot/toolchain_build_arm/gcc-20011006/.patched] Error1
************************************************************
I hope to know what's the matter is, and how should I complete the
compiling. Thank you very much. Thank you! Hope to hear some suggestion from
you:)
