[uClibc] uwoody

Hi all,

I've been having major problems with the uclibc build root environment
(segmentation faults from all the binaries built, e.g. /bin/ls), so I'm
experimenting with uwoody. It looks very nice, but a few things tripped
me up.

I can't install uwoody-dev because it conflicts with the ppp package:

Selecting previously deselected package uclibc-dev.
(Reading database ... 4712 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking uclibc-dev (from .../uclibc-dev_0.9.26-1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/uclibc-dev_0.9.26-1_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/include/net/vjcompress.h', which is also in
package ppp
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)

And indeed, vjcompress.h is in both packages. Any ideas on a solution for
this? (I'm not a Debian expert and I've never built my own .debs before).

I already figured out that you need to mount /proc for apt to work
(otherwise it just hangs), and there's no /etc/apt/sources.list supplied
by default. I created my own with this line and it seems to work:

	deb http://www.uclibc.org uwoody main

Cheers, Chris.
