[uClibc] uclibc and user mode linux

Hello all,
    For the first time in a bit I tried to build an UML version of
buildroot.
    Grabbed a fresh tree from CVS and changed the makefile kernel target.
After it downloads the uclibc package, I recieve the following:

    touch  /cross/i386/buildroot/build_i386/uClibc/.unpacked
    make: *** No rule to make target `/.configured', needed by
`/cross/i386/buildroot/build_i386/uClibc/.configured'.  Stop.

    Since I have not done this for a few months, I assume it must be me, any
ideas or is this an FAQ.
    I did not see it in the FAQ and scanning the news left me with no
solutions I could find.
