[uClibc]Fork and pthread problem in uclibc 0.9.19

If I create a child process using fork() and use a pthread_create() call in
the child process, the pthread_create() never returns. I am using uclibc
0.9.19 on a mips processor. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
