[uClibc] buildroot error

Hi all

I am trying to build rootfs. I downloaded
buildroot.tar.gz and root_fs_i386.bz2  from 19th dec
release. Started building rootfs on latest
root_fs_i386 environment. ncurses failed to compile
with error
"strstrem" file not found. I removed ncurses from
target list in the makefile. After that flex failed
with 
"Segmentation fault
configure: error: --bindir=/usr/bin: invalid option;
use --help to show usage
make: ***
[/buildroot/build_i386/flex-2.5.4/.configured] Error
1"
After removing the flex and unneccessary packages from

target list. make is giving segmentation fault at
compressing root_fs.

Can any one suggest me a solution.
