[uClibc] root_fs_i386/lost+found

Thanks. I understand what it is for on a live system,
I guess I was wondering why 2MB (uncompressed) is
being wasted and consuming bandwidth when downloaded.
So, why is the root_fs_i386 an ext2 image instead
of just a regular tarball?
