Aie !!!

This time I downloaded directly the gcc-3.0.3
toolchain from codepoet.org/toolchain.
Stage 1 fails when applying patches.
But the toolchain builds itself anyway.
I noticed too that gcc wrapper is missing from
toolchain/bin...

Now, the bad thing.

i386-linux-gcc works natively, or with -Os.
But -O2, -O3, -O6, -O fail on link complaining
about __strtol_internal_

I tried on X11, and got the following segfault:

i386-linux-gcc -o imake -Os -I../../include
-I../../imports/x11/include/X11 imake.o
make[2]: Leaving directory `/exp/xc/config/imake'
rm -f ./config/makedepend/Makefile.proto
./config/imake/imake -I./config/cf -s
./config/makedepend/Makefile.proto -f
./config/makedepend/Imakefile -DTOPDIR=../..
-DCURDIR=./config/makedepend
make[1]: *** [config/makedepend/Makefile.proto]
Segmentation fault
make[1]: *** Deleting file
`config/makedepend/Makefile.proto'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/exp/xc'
make: *** [World] Error 2

gcc-2.95.3 toolchain with manual installation of
stage1 compiler from i386-linux-gcc/gcc worked
*much* better. But it could have failed at the
patching level.

I'll try again.
Christian
