[uClibc]resolver and services configuration

Hi!

I have another question about uclibc.

Internet now works fine with uclibc (and pppd), I can ping various ip 
adresses.

How can I configure domain name resolution and the aliases from 
/etc/services ?

I have just copy the resolv.conf, services and host.conf file from my 
working debian system.

But pinging a domain name don't work, ping prints no output and "waits" 
perhaps.

The hosts file is been read from uclibc I think, because to the domain 
names from this file I can connect.

Is host.conf read from uclibc (it is also from debian)?

Any suggestions?
