Any of those would be fine.  uClibc only needs a few files from
the kernel sources that should be the same across all those
source trees.

++++++++++++++++ Ok, now i am using the same kernel tree of my linux i386
box but it is giving this error.

 The path '/usr/src/linux-2.4.2/include/asm' doesn't exist.
 I bet you didn't set KERNEL_SOURCE, TARGET_ARCH or HAS_MMU in `Config'
 correctly.  Please edit `Config' and fix these settings.

 make: *** [headers] Error 1
