Ok, thats what I wanted to know.  I'll fix things up to
exclude the fake i_am_not_a_leaf call.  I was just testing
to be sure that would make gcc behave itself.

Hmm.  I usually keep a magic wand handy for such problems.  :)
Any chance you can run it on a working Linux powerpc system?
