[uClibc]Does this list get spammed often?

Hello,
	To answer your question...no...the list barely ever gets spammed.
However, I do think anyone can mail the list (subscribed or not) as I have
mailed it from other accounts.  Anyway, all mailing lists get smapped (even
ones only allowing members to submit)...but in the nearly one year I have
been a member, I have seen maybe five spam mails.  All in all, a good
record.

Hi,

I just signed up for the uClibc mailing list today, and the first mail i got
from it was "credit card processing systems" spam.  

Does this list receive a lot of spam?  Is it inherent in the
anybody-may-mail list design, or does lineo sell the list addresses to
spammers?  This isn't rhetorical - i'm genuinely asking.
