[uClibc]A little OT...but still relevant

Hello all,
    I was sitting around thinking of the other uses for my project than an
embedded firewall system, and began wondering about XWindows.  I have two
questions.  The first: Has anyone heard about the slimmed down source to
XWindows that resides in one of the source's sub directories?  Is it
actually there?  Does it work?  The second question: What are the odds that
I could compile it vs. the uClibc source?  Has anyone come up with a way to
compile library sources against uClibc?
    Any information about these topics is always _greatly_ appreciated.
