[uClibc]uclibc - state of usability (networking)?

Hi.

Maybe this question ranges in the state of an faq, but...

Some months ago I read in this list that the state of networking support
is somewhat limited compared with the gnu glibc. What is the current
state of the lib, are there any major features uclibc lacks of? If so,
which features are currently missing?

I would like to use uclibc on an x86-board (elan sc400) with the kernel
2.4 bridging feature. Configuration should be possible via both telnet
and http. Later maybe freeswan will be added (or an other ipsec
implementation, but I currently only know about Freeswan as ipsec for
linux). The webserver will most likely be mini_httpd, the "little
brother" of thttpd. Should I expect any problems with this setup when
using uclibc? Oh, I forgot: init, syslogd and so on will be based on
busybox.

Bye, Mike
