[uClibc]some questions for the maintainer(s)

Yesterday I posted a message to the busybox list concerning some uClibc
bugs/issues and to report success in building the e2fsprog package (1.18)
against uClibc.  I was unaware of this list at the time.

I was hoping for some feedback from the maintainers regarding some of the
issues I mentioned before I finalized my patches.  I'm interested in working
on/with uClibc, but I don't won't to waste effort working at cross-purposes.

I also found a bug today in the strtod function.  (nptr should be incremented
instead of exponent in the exponent parsing).  Of course, it still doesn't do
anything with the endptr arg.  This is something I'd like to fix as well.

I was also wondering why strtod was defined to return float instead of double?
