buildroot oprofile package?

Hello,

  Does anyone have a oprofile.mk for buildroot? I'm trying to build it
and it requires libpopt which I was able to create a .mk file for. However
it also requires libbfd which is part of binutils. I tried building a native
gcc using buildroot but I am not sure where the resulting shared libraries get
put so that I can link against libbfd for oprofile. Thanks for your time.
